De Blasis B&B
DE BLASIS responds to the surname of a family of Italian immigrants from the city of L'Aquila who, after trying their luck in Argentina, moved to the Aconcagua Valley in Chile, sowing hard work and hope there to keep developing the wine production. They are known in the area as the pioneers of the vine ...
In 1927, in a village next to the city of Santiago called Providencia, the house that now holds DE BLASIS B&B was built, as part of a set of houses for chiefs and officers of Carabineros de Chile, an institution that was founded that same year. Then in 2007 this same set of houses was declared a historic conservation area.
Over time, the house was acquired by another family, and it was used as housing until 1984. A bit later it became offices belonging to the Chilean Sailing Federation.
In 2013 the main house was completely restored to become a holiday accommodation for the first time. Then, in 2016, the second remodeling was made to the secondary house, being able this waty to hold 13 rooms in total.
enabling six new rooms.
